I. Key Points and Objectives This seminar on the prevention and health management of the Three Highs (hypertension, hyperglycemia, and hyperlipidemia) aimed to enhance health literacy among Indigenous older adults at the Laflan Cultural Health Station in Taoyuan District, Kaohsiung City. The activity sought to strengthen participants’ abilities in self-health management and daily care, increase their understanding of the causes, risk factors, and early warning signs of the Three Highs, and integrate Indigenous cultural perspectives and community support. By helping older adults develop correct health concepts and self-monitoring habits, the seminar promoted the creation of a culturally sensitive, health-oriented living environment within the community. II. Activity Features and Implementation The seminar was designed around the daily life experiences and health needs of Indigenous older adults. Through clear and easy-to-understand instruction by a professional lecturer, participants were introduced to essential knowledge related to the Three Highs, along with practical guidance on dietary choices and lifestyle adjustments. The seminar emphasized the importance of self-health management and regular health monitoring.
