I. Key Points and Objectives

This event aimed to promote the cultural transmission and sustainable development of Indigenous peoples in urban areas. Indigenous elders and elders from associations and organizations were invited to share tribal wisdom and life experiences. Through intergenerational dialogue and cultural exchange, the event deepened participants’ understanding of culturally sensitive care and community connections. In addition, an Indigenous medical education picture book developed by the Center was officially launched. The event also aligned with the university’s initiative to advance the project goal of “Developing Culturally Sensitive Care Models.”

II. Activity Features and Implementation

Focusing on the cultural transmission of urban Indigenous communities, the event facilitated intergenerational dialogue and cultural exchange through the sharing of lived experiences and traditional wisdom by elders and association leaders. The Center also presented its newly developed Indigenous medical education picture book, with members of the media invited to attend, increasing the event’s visibility and social impact. Participation was enthusiastic, interactions were lively, and attendees reported a deeper understanding of culturally sensitive care and community connections. Overall, the event successfully achieved its goals in cultural promotion and educational outreach.
